Do you ever wonder "I know my kids are home, but where are they?" Usually, this is said after they've come home from school and walked straight to their rooms, never to resurface again except to eat. Does your "family time" consist of eating fast food on the side lines of a soccer field, eating one child play while the other play on a nearby play area? If you've lost your family time, DON"T WORRY! It CAN be found again!

I chose Ciao Y'all, from Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola, for the premier installment of my new series reviewing cookbooks. Johnny and Damian are two "real eaters" that grew up in Texas with large Italian families. If you've ever had the pleasure of eating at a Carrabba's Italian Grill, you can thank these two, who started the first Carrabba's in Houston. I am a great fan of our local Carrabba's and my husband and I try to eat at one any time we have a date night or when we run across one while on vacation.

If you've never participated in an online Bible study or if you are new to Bible studies in general, I encourage you to check out a new study going on over at Proverbs 31 Ministries. Entitled "When Women Say Yes To God," it is based on the book by the same name by Lysa TerKeurst. It's an in-depth look at the love and glory we give to Christ when we hand everything in our lives and every piece of who we are over to God and say "yes" to Him.

I love adding new product lines to our shop. The process of making fresh samples, taking photos, and seeing those brand spanking new listings always creates a stir in my heart. The newest addition to our line-up is the 4 Inch Polka Dot Boutique Hair Bows.

Well, my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning. This means I will have something that I haven't had in a LONG time ...down time. While, I am recuperating from surgery, my husband's wonderful mom will be taking good care of my little one and our big kids will be in school. That leaves me with quite a few unaccounted for hours in my day (not something you will hear many moms say they have).

Since opening my ETSY shop (you can find it here) in January, I have fallen in love with the site. Blissfully browsing through the lovely vintage and handmade items can equal many hours spent in my already busy day. My "favorites" listings currently number 624 and counting and I have recenlty begun adding treasuries to my profile, as well.
